Caring for your
wrap or graphics

Now that you’ve got your new look – all eyes will be on you, so it’s important to make sure your car looks as good as the day you left the shop. To ensure the “wow” factor both in the short term and in the future, it’s essential to maintain your graphics through proactive care.

  • Do’s

    • Hand wash when possible – Wrapped vehicles can be run through a carwash with a touchless system, but hand washing is best. First, rinse off as much dirt and grit as possible before cleaning your vehicle using a clean microfiber cloth. Be sure to rinse thoroughly with clean water and reduce water spotting by using a silicone squeegee to remove excess water immediately. Finish drying with a clean microfiber cloth.
    • Wash with warm water at medium water pressure.
    • Keep the spray nozzle at least half a metre from the car edges.
  • Don’ts

    • Steer clear of abrasive polishes, detergents or cutting compounds.
    • Don’t use any polishing wax products on matte or textured films.
    • Avoid brush car washes as they may cause the wrap to fade or scratch and could lift the edge of the film.
    • Never use an ammonia-based cleaner, like Windex®, to wash tinted windows, as ammonia will deteriorate the tint over time.
