Vehicle Graphics & Wraps Warranty Disclosure

At Signwriting.co.nz, we take pride in providing high-quality vehicle graphics, wraps, and signage using only premium materials from leading brands such as 3M, Oracal, Hexis, Avery Dennison, and Arlon PCC. Our materials and installation processes are designed to ensure durability and long-lasting performance. However, environmental conditions, maintenance, and application surfaces can impact longevity.

Warranty Coverage:

• Vertical Surfaces(e.g., doors, side panels): 7-year warranty on material performance and adhesion.
• Horizontal Surfaces(e.g., bonnets, roofs): 2-year warranty on material performance and adhesion.

Expected Lifespan:

• Printed Graphics:Up to 10 years on vertical surfaces and up to 5 years on horizontal surfaces, depending on exposure and maintenance.
• Coloured (Non-Printed) Films:While these films may last longer in vertical applications, any film applied to horizontal surfaces must be removed after 2 years to prevent potential damage and adhesion failure.

Exclusions:

• Fading, discoloration, or degradation due to prolonged UV exposure, extreme weather, or chemical and dirt contamination.
• Damage caused by improper maintenance, not cleaning regularly, pressure washing, or using abrasive cleaning methods.
• Peeling or lifting due to improper care, exposure to excessive heat, or prolonged exposure to contaminants.
• Application to surfaces with existing paint defects, rust, or poor adhesion.

Maintenance Guidelines:

• Regularly wash your vehicle using a mild detergent and avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive brushes.
• Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight where possible, especially for horizontal surfaces.
• Do not use high-pressure washing or automated car washes with brushes.

Building Signage Warranty Disclosure

At Signwriting.co.nz, we provide high-quality building signage designed for durability and long-term performance. Our signage warranties cover a range of materials and applications, ensuring reliability under typical conditions.

Warranty Coverage:

• Permanent Building Signage:Minimum 5-year warranty.
• Smaller Signs (e.g., Roadside Plinths):3-year warranty.
• ACM Cladding and Panels:10-year warranty on the ACM Panel.
• Contravision Perforated Window Films:3-year warranty when applied to an exterior window face in high sun with overlaminate.
• Chrome or Mirror Films:6-months warranty when used in exterior signage.
• Indoor Signage (Low Sunlight Exposure):Can last indefinitely under normal conditions.

Print Longevity:

We use HP inks for all our signage, which are engineered for long-lasting performance. Fading is not a common occurrence, even in outdoor applications, due to the high UV resistance of our printing technology.

Exclusions:

• Damage due to vandalism, extreme weather, improper maintenance, or unauthorized modifications.
• Peeling, lifting, or warping caused by unsuitable mounting surfaces or excessive environmental stress.
• Electrical components of illuminated signs are covered separately under manufacturer warranties.
• Applying graphics over-top of any existing graphics.

Maintenance Guidelines:

• Clean signage periodically with mild detergent and a soft cloth.
• Avoid abrasive cleaners, high-pressure washing, or exposure to harsh chemicals.
• Regularly inspect mounting hardware and fixings to ensure structural stability.
