Sesto

After recently taking ownership of an HP800W with white ink capabilities, we were waiting for an opportunity to create something awesome using 3M IJ180 Clear, a unique air-release wrapping film that settles in surprisingly clear.

Sesto approached us for their new addition of an Audi RS3, a true hot hatch in hot red, they didn’t want to lose the factory colour, but wanted a full wrap to protect and promote. Seeing their detailed concept we suggested doing a completely one-layer clear print, using white ink and four colour blacks. Sold on the idea – we went to work adjusting their design to suit the sharp bodylines to achieve a seamless finish.

A very clean and dust free environment was required for this clear wrap, and some care to avoid visible glue lines through the clear vinyl. What eventuated was a perfectly seamless, layer-less glossy custom wrap that blew the customers away!
